A Brief View of My Future Life!!
So this morning started a bit rough, Oliquig left for work before Princess got up, so there were many tears and "I didn't get hugs and kisses!". I told her we would call Oliquig later. All seemed well. Then I went to take a shower, still all was well....Then, 10 minutes before we were to leave, she told me she wanted to watch "Mickeys Twice Upon a Christmas", a cute kids dvd but cmon, I have watched it WAY too many times in the past few weeks!! However, had there been time, I would have let her watch it again, hey Christmas only comes once a year. I told her no because we were going to leave in a few minutes, well obviously THAT was not what she wanted to hear, as she dramatically cried, then ran to her room and slammed the door shut! I yelled "Open that door!" She, of course, yelled NO!! So I went to her room to open her door, SHE HAD LOCKED IT!!! I was so mad, I yelled "you unlock this door this instant!" She again screamed NO!! I said " Unlock this door or there will be no TV for the rest or your life AND there will be no door!" Finally, she unlocked it, but didn't open it. I opened it and told her that for this behavior, tonite she does NOT get to watch her show, that what she did was unnacceptable. SHE'S 3 PEOPLE!!! I am in SO much trouble for when she is a teenager, I can see my future, and it aint pretty! Thank god she's cute and knows how to melt my heart, or I'd be saying anyone want to adopt her when she's a teenager?? As it is, I guess I'll keep her, as much as I hate to admit it, she comes by her dramatics quite naturally....what did our mothers say about a mothers curse????
