Random thoughts
Deck the halls with boughs of holly!
That's what I'll be doing this weekend, well ok maybe not bells, and definately not holly, too prickly, but you get the idea! Princess can't wait to get the tree, we'll get it friday, let it sit, hopefully string the lights on Saturday night, then decorate it on Sunday! See how my plan works? Only problem with plans, they never seem to go just as you want them to. So we'll see how it all worked out after the weekend :-)
I'm pretty close to done as far as christmas shopping goes, and some presents don't have to be bought until after christmas as I won't see everyone before. One more item I have to buy is a new dresser for Princess. Apparently, she's been using the drawers as a ladder to get to the top of the dresser, because we all know THAT'S what they're there for right?? When I asked her why she did it, she said "cause I have to get my beary bank". Which is like a piggy bank only it's a bear. Which is at the edge of the dresser, where she can reach without climbing.....huh??? Silly me, I'm trying to make SENSE of what a three year old says LOL
I got a great gift from one of my clients, a gift certificate to target woo hoo!!! This time of year my clients get very generous. I get gifts, wine, money and wonderful cards. I appreciate all of them, from the very small to the very big presents, it makes me realise how much I mean to them, and they certainly mean a lot to me.
